Lately: I felt compiled to post something about my heritage. I'm Cherokee Nation Indigenous Native American. To often I'm asked, who are indigenous people as in reference that I'm calling out one race of people from another. Honestly, it's sorta disrespectful to ask an member of a Nation Federal recognize tribe that questions.
